В распоряжение издания tom’s hardware попал экземпляр микропроцессора core i7-4770k( 3, 5 ГГц), основанного на новейшей архитектуре haswell.

   Редакция издания протестировала новейший чип, проверив его быстродействие в различных приложениях. Например, ежели сопоставить продуктивность в настоящих приложениях core i7-4770k и core i7-3770k, то в играх новейших чип показывает прибавку производительности только 7-13%.


   Разница в производительности gpu наиболее видна, в зависимости от разрешения и от самой игры. Например, haswell на 18% скорее ivy bridge в игре hitman на разрешении 1366× 768, но на 50% скорее в игре dirt 3 на том же разрешении.
