   Хит презентации показали в самом конце мероприятия, которое вел генеральный директор компании Тим Кук, в прошлом году сменивший на этом посту сооснователя Apple Стива Джобса. Apple значительно облегчила небольшой iPad за счет уменьшения боковых частей корпуса, которые не заняты экраном. Масса устройства составляет 308 г. Техническими параметрами iPad mini напоминает вторую версию iPad: у него двухъядерный процессор Apple A5 и 512 МБ либо 1 ГБ оперативной памяти. Представители компании называли новинку "полновесный iPad, но меньших размеров" либо "сосредоточенный iPad". Утверждается, что с ним дозволено делать все то же, что и с полноразмерным устройством, но при этом он ощутимо суперкомпактнее. iPad mini выйдет в черном и белом цвете. Исключительной же неожиданностью мероприятия стал представленный в его ходе iPad четвертого поколения с новым процессором A6X с удвоенной продуктивностью. У новинки также вдвое больше стремительным модулем Wi-Fi и новейший разъем Lightning, как у iPhone 5. Начиналось же мероприятие с представления новой верси программы для чтения книг на iPhone и iPad - iBooks 3.0. Толщина компьютера составляет каждого 1,9 см, а по весу он является самым легким "профессиональным" ноутбуком Apple в истории. Разрешение экрана составляет 2560x1600 точек, что гораздо превышает таковое у современных телевизоров Full HD. Дисковода для оптических дисков огромнее нет. Базовая модель с Intel Core i5, 8 гигабайтами оперативной памяти и гибридным жестким диском на 128 Гб обойдется заокеанским покупателям в 1699 баксов. После этого были показаны новые Mac mini с процессорами Intel от 2,5 ГГц с 2 ядрами до 2,3 ГГц с четырьмя, 4 гигабайтами оперативной памяти и жесткиими дисками емкостью от 0,5 до 2 (в серверной модификации) терабайт. Базовая конфигурация обойдется каждого в 600 баксов. Еще одна новинка линейки Mac - iMac с абсолютно новым дизайном. С краю толщина настольного компьютера-моноблока составляет каждого 5 мм.
